Driving lessons for everyone
You can start your driving training in two ways, first get your theory and then start with practical lessons, to prepare for the intermediate test and practical exam. Or you combine the theoretical part with the practice. The advantage of this is that you put the learning material of your theory directly into practice, which makes it better remembered and easier to understand.

Some rules and conditions
If you choose to end your driving training at Verkeersschool De Ridder due to a move or other reasons, you are eligible for a refund of unused tuition and exam costs, two years after the start of your lesson package. See BOVAG conditions. The amount to be refunded does not include any lessons or exams already scheduled. An administration fee of €45.00 will be charged.
If you still have driving lessons credit from your package after you have passed your driving test, you will simply get the amount of the driving lessons back. An administration fee of €29.00 will be charged.
- Installment amount is invoiced periodically (depending on the number of lessons and the costs of the package).
- You must agree to the General Terms and Conditions via the Driving License app.
- Submit your health declaration to the CBR (via the CBR website, log in with DigiD).
- Authorize the traffic school via the CBR for the category B interim test and B practical exam.
- All invoices must be paid before the practical exam is taken

For all exams and interim tests, a €29 administration fee applies for changing an already planned date and/or time.

We find transparency and honesty very important, and that is why we work with the Driving License app. This gives you (and your parents) insight into your driving education; both the progress, finances, lesson credits and much more. We adapt the driving education as well as possible to the wishes and needs of the student.
You do not need to have your theory certificate. Because all the cars are equipped with dual controls, your instructor is the legal driver of the car.
It depends on whether you quickly obtain a theory certificate, but success also depends on talent, perseverance, consistency in lessons, etc. On average, it takes someone 5 to 6 months to obtain a driving license.
It is always difficult to say after 1 lesson how many lessons are needed. In fact, you can only say what the trajectory will look like after 5 to 6 lessons. The first lesson is more of an introduction to the instructor, the car and driving.
All packages we offer are a base. It is important to determine whether you want to follow a theory course or whether you are going to learn the theory yourself.
A free trial lesson is often only a few minutes and you will immediately receive advice about the training. We believe that this is impossible because a first lesson is an introduction but also a real lesson.
You have a permanent instructor so that progress can be worked on properly. You will be picked up at home or at an address that is convenient in consultation. The instructor keeps the progress card so that it is very transparent for everyone what the progress is.
