What is the licence BE?
If you wish to drive with a trailer weighing over 750 kg, or if the combined mass of your vehicle and trailer is more than 3,500 kg, you need to have the licence BE. To apply for a licence BE, you must first obtain the regular Licence B.
How to obtain the licence BE
You only need a practice training to get your licence BE. This means that there is no separate theory certificate required. You do need to have a valid Dutch driving licence B.
